High school graduates
Many of our students are recent high school graduates who are hoping to earn the credentials that will get them started on their careers. We have special programs just for them, including an opportunity for eligible students to take one class at Globe University each quarter (up to four total) in the year before they enroll at our college. This program, called High School Advantage, is a great way for high school seniors to jump-start their college educations.
Adult learners
Adult learners make up a large proportion of our students. They can be people who have been working for a while and wish to earn college degrees that can help them move forward in their careers. Others are people who need to take a class periodically to satisfy certification requirements in their fields. Still others are people who are hoping to change careers altogether. Some are single parents who wish to start careers so they can provide better lives for their children. Whatever their reason for attending Globe University, adult learners add their knowledge and experiences to our classrooms. Their contributions enrich our school.
Military students
We welcome military students. In fact, we have a Military Student Services department staffed by retired US Army First Sergeants. They know the issues that are important to military students and can answer questions about veterans’ benefits, Globe University and how military training may be applied to one of our college degree programs.
