College Admission at Globe University


Some students are put off by the college admissions process. There are many forms to complete and questions to ask. That’s why we make it as easy as possible to apply to Globe University-Middleton. Our admissions representatives assist you with the process, answer your questions and help as you complete all application materials.

Admissions requirements for undergraduate programs

For admission to our college, students must meet the following requirements:

High school diploma or GED, career diploma, associate degree or bachelor’s degree

Minimum score on the Accuplacer test of 38 in reading comprehension, 35 in sentence skills and 21 in arithmetic. Alternatives to this requirement include a minimum score of 21 on the ACT or composite score of 1485 on the SAT (if test was taken after March 2006)

College level mathematics class. Students who do not meet this requirement may need to complete a Foundations of Mathematics class once enrolled

Writing course. A student who has not successfully completed a college composition course or who scores lower than 87 on the sentence skills component of the Accuplacer test may be required to complete Fundamentals of Writing II once enrolled

There are additional admissions requirements for massage therapy, media business, medical assistant, paralegal and veterinary technology programs. Your admissions representative can advise you about these enrolling in these programs.

MBA requirements

For admission to the Master of Business Administration program, applicants must provide the following documentation:

  • Official undergraduate transcript that demonstrates completion of a baccalaureate degree
  • Current professional resume
  • Student statement of purpose (five pages maximum)
  • Two professional letters of recommendation
  • Evidence of English proficiency (for international students)
  • Completion of interview with the dean of the MBA program

Credit for prior learning and work experience

Both graduate and undergraduate students may be able to receive credit for prior learning or work experience. Students should speak with an admissions representative to find out how to obtain credit for work experience or previous college classes.
