Why a diploma in massage therapy?
You can complete a diploma in massage therapy quickly, allowing you to start earning a paycheck. A diploma program is a great way to explore an industry. If after working for a while, you want to move forward in the field, we also offer an associate degree in massage therapy that will accept most of your diploma credits. Students complete courses in topics such as the following:

- CPR
- Anatomy
- Swedish Massage
- Special Population Massage
- Myofascial Release
- Hot Stone Massage
- Spa Techniques
- Deep Tissue Massage
These and other subjects covered in the program prepare students for employment in a variety of settings — clinics, spas and salons. Students complete an externship that allows them to practice their skills and refine their techniques. Graduates are also prepared for licensing and certification exams such as that offered by National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. They are eligible for membership in organizations such as the American Massage Therapy Association and the Association of Bodywork and Massage Professionals.
