Coursework for the associate degree
Students in the AAS degree program in medical administrative assisting complete general education courses that strengthen analysis, communication and presentation skills. They take core requirements that cover the following topics:

The core classes also include business, keyboarding and MS Office Professional courses. Students also choose from electives approved by the Dean of Students. This degree program can be completed in 18 months of full-time study. Students may take some of the classes through our online division or study part-time.
